Zovirax is one of those medications where you’re generally going to find that it’s not going to have an affect one way or another on your life insurance application. Which means that even if you’re currently suffering from an “outbreak”, you should still potentially be eligible for a Preferred or Preferred Plus rate class (provided you would otherwise still qualify).
This is mainly because Zovirax is a medication that is used to treat pretty common conditions which, in general, are not “life threatening”.
Zoriax (acyclovir) is a prescription antiviral medication that is used to treat infections casued by certain types of viruses. Common conditions in which it is used to treat would include: shingles, cold sores, genital herpes as well as chickenpox which incidentally, are all believed to be cause by the herpes virus.
Now a word of caution…
While it is true that taking Zoriax shouldn’t affect your life insurance application, nor should having a herpes “flare up”, it should be noted that many of the “hypothesized” causes that can lead to a “flare up” are also triggers that could potentially lead to a less than ideal life insurance medical exam result.
- Reduce stress.
- Get plenty of sleep.
- Reduce alcohol intake.
- Refrain from smoking.
- Reduce sugar intake.
- Monitor your diet.
Reducing each of these stressors have also been shown to improve the result of one’s life insurance application medical exam, one can theorize that if you’re currently experiencing a flare up, now may not be the most ideal time to also apply for a life insurance policy that will require a medical exam.
But don’t delay…
Since every day that you go without life insurance is another day that you’re putting your family at risk, it’s important to NOT DELAY.
Which means that what you’ll want to do is either apply for a life insurance policy that won’t require a medical exam or…
Simply apply for a life insurance policy and schedule the exam for a week or two down the line so that you can get your body prepared to “ace” your exam.
Now you may be wondering, “what can I do it help ace my exam?” which is why we created this brief video which you may want to take a look at.
The good news is…
That whatever you ultimately end up deciding upon (Exam vs No Exam), what you’re going to find here at TermLife2Go is that we’re going to have plenty of options for you to choose from.
In fact, right now we’re currently working with several dozen different life insurance companies which means that while where examining what “type” of life insurance policy that you’re interested in and taking a look at some of the pricing associated with each, we’re also going to be looking at the internal underwriting guidelines of each of these companies as well.
Once we’ve completed your initial life insurance application, not only will we have a pretty good idea what “type” of life insurance policy you’ll be eligible for and what “rate class” you should qualify for, we’ll also have a pretty good idea “which” life insurance company is going to be the best fit for you!
So what are you waiting for? Give us a call today and see what we can do for you.
Lastly, because you may be eligible for a life insurance policy that will not require you to take a medical exam, we would encourage you to take a look at our No Medical Exam Life Insurance Quote page which will allow you compare prices of policies that will require you to take a medical exam vs those that won’t.
