Gigwalk Mobile App Review
How does it work? And how much money can you really make by using the Gigwalk app? These are just a couple of the questions that we hope to answer in this review so that by the time you’re done reading our article, you should have a pretty good idea if the Gigwalk app is going to be a good fit for you.
So, what is the Gigwalk app? And how does it work?
The Gigwalk app is an app that helps folks match potential “gigs” with people that are willing to do a quick job or errand for a few bucks.
What kind of “gigs” will one find on the Gigwalk app?
There are so many different one-time job opportunities available on Gigwalk, it’s almost hard to come up with an actual list. Mainly because just about any kind of “gig” one can imagine might be listed or offered on the Gigwalk app.
“Gigs” could include:
- Walking a dog,
- Cleaning up after a dog,
- Picking up something from a repair shop,
- Taking photos of something for sale,
- Going to a grocery store for someone,
- Checking in on a loved one,
- Etc, etc…
There are endless possibilities on Gigwalk! In fact, many of the “gigs” that you’ll find offered on Gigwalk may be specific opportunities offered on other “money making apps” that are out there.
The only difference is that you may not have as much “competition” on the Gigwalk app for certain “gigs” because Gigwalk doesn’t particularly “specialize” in any one area like many of the other apps out there. Which is a potentially HUGE benefit if you’re looking for “gigs” that lots of folks like performing.
Who puts up Gigwalk jobs?
Other people on Gigwalk post their gig needs – and you choose to apply to the ones you can do. When you apply for a gig you commit to doing it within a certain time frame. If for some reason you don’t, this is going to reflect poorly on you and will come out in the review section. And as we all know, those reviews will play a huge role in “winning” any future gigs you may apply for!
How much do you get paid for performing a gig?
The person posting will set the fee. Most gigs pay around $5 or maybe $10 each.
How to make the most of Gigwalk.
If you have to spend a lot of time completing a gig, then $5 or $10 bucks may not be worth it to you. After all, you don’t want to be making less than minimum wage (supposing you take an hour to complete the gig!).
But, if you can find a gig that is close to you or close to somewhere you are going, and you can swing it in 15-20 minutes, then it may be worth your time.
This is why…
If you’re serious about making some extra cash using Gigwalk, you should check the app frequently throughout the day, so that if there is an opportunity for you to kill a personal errand and complete a “gig” at the same time, well… that’s almost like paid for doing nothing (we love passive income ideas)!
Can you make a lot of money on Gigwalk?
You aren’t going to get rich doing $5 jobs, but you can supplement your income substantially if you do it regularly. Imagine what you can do if you make $100-150 extra a month. That’s quite a bit of cash! This is supposing you have enough gig opportunities in your area.
Are there any high-paying gigs?
Yes, as you scan through the different gigs in your area, you’ll typically find one or two “gigs” that will pay more than the typically average, you may even find a gig that pays $50 or more – but if you do, it’s probably going to take a bit more time to complete. So be careful, it may be WAY easier to do 4 or 5 easier gigs for the same amount of money that you would get by doing the more difficulty time consuming gig.
Potential problems with the Gigwalk app.
There aren’t really any problems so to speak with the Gigwalk app, but as we stated before, Gigwalk isn’t the only app of its kind on the market.
There are other apps designed to help you find one-time gig opportunities and to earn a little extra pocket money.
The good news is that…
You don’t have to be commit yourself to only one app. Be the “self employed” free spirit that you’ve always wanted to be!
That said however….
If you live in a smaller city or town there might not be that many (or any) gig opportunities on Gigwalk. If that’s the case, you can try looking into other money-making apps or maybe just utilize one of our money saving apps to help stretch our your current income.
All in All…
Gigwalk can be fun and a great way to earn a bit of extra income. There is potential for a pretty substantial amount of income ($800+ a month) if you live in a big city. However, there may be more effective ways to earn that kind of money, but at least this way if you do try it out, you aren’t committing yourself to any kind of “long term” project.
