So, what is Wolff-Parkinson-White Pattern?

This is when your heart has an additional electrical pathway between the upper and lower chamber of the heart. A fast heartbeat does not occur in all cases of Wolff-Parkinson-White Pattern.

What happens?

This extra pathway results in a heartbeat that is faster than normal.

Is it serious?

Wolff-Parkinson-White will probably not end your life, if that’s what you’re asking. However, you will have to be careful – after all, this is your heart we’re talking about!

Symptoms of Wolff-Parkinson-White Pattern.

The symptoms of WPW may include:

  • Fatigure/tiredness,
  • Anxiousness,
  • Feeling dizzy,
  • Heart palpitations,

You may feel other symptoms related to an “uneasy” heart.

Treatment options.

Depending on how bad your Wolff Parkinson White Pattern is, the treatment can range from simple exercises that can help your heartbeat get back on track to radiofrequency catheter ablation.

Now at this point…

We usually like to remind folks that we here at TermLife2Go are not medical professionals, and we’re certainly not doctors.  All we are is a bunch of life insurance agents who just happen to be really good at helping folks with pre-existing medical conditions find insurance.

If you have any specific medical questions that you would like to ask, please contact your doctor, we’re certainly not qualified to handle those types of questions.  However, if you have any questions about how your Wolff-Parkinson-White-Pattern may affect your chances at qualifying for a life insurance policy, good news, we’re about to discuss that!

Qualifying for Life Insurance with Wolff Parkinson White Pattern.

Whenever anything is “wrong” with a major organ such as the heart, there is cause for concern and necessary medical action is required. The good news is that WPW is one of the less severe heart problems one can have – especially if you are one of the lucky ones who does not even experience symptoms.

Qualifying for Life Insurance.

If you suffer from zero or Minimal Symptoms as a result of your Wolff Parkinson White Pattern, it is completely reasonable to assume that you will be able to qualify for whole or term life insurance!

That is of course if you would otherwise be eligible for such a rate despite having been diagnosed with Wolff Parkinson White Pattern!

Minimal or Semi-Moderate Symptoms.

Those suffering from minimal or semi-moderate symptoms may also be able to qualify for a traditional term or whole life insurance policy as well.  In cases like these, we would generally like to “shoot” for a Standard or Normal rate if possible.

Moderate Symptoms.

Luckily individuals suffering from moderate symptoms may also be able to qualify for coverage as well.  Only now, these individuals will usually be considered a “higher” risk for life insurance and will usually only be able to qualify for a Table Rate.

Table rate.

Table rates are life insurance rates that fall below a standard rate and are usually reserved for higher risk applicants.  There are 10 Table Rates in total ranging from Table A (the best or least expensive table rate) to Table J (the worst or most expensive table rate).

The good news is…

That those suffering from moderate symptoms will usually qualify for a table rate ranging from Table A to C, which isn’t all that bad considering you suffer from a heart condition!

Finding the best rate possible.

Remember, WPW is only one part of the equation. Life insurance companies will factor in many things before they offer you a life insurance rate. Those things include but are not limited to:

  • Weight
  • Overall Health
  • Blood Pressure
  • Cholesterol
  • Lifestyle Choices (smoking, etc)

All of these things will factor into your rate.

Best Life Insurance Company for Wolff Parkinson White Pattern.

Is there one life insurance company that people with WPW should count on? Not exactly. As just explained, there are other factors that go into the equation. If you have no or minimal symptoms, WPW isn’t even going to factor in much at all…but your weight, smoking habits, cholesterol and so on will.

If we recommend one life insurance company to use with WPW, we would be pointing you in the wrong direction! Since our overall goal is to help clients find the best life insurance (i.e. the most affordable life insurance that offers the most coverage), we don’t want to do that!

Personalized Life Insurance Recommendations is the Only Way!

The only way to truly know if you have found the best life insurance policy for WPW and your other factors is to have a personalized assessment from someone who knows and understands the life insurance industry as a whole. Just Bury Me is that expert!
