BitMaker App Review
Provide opportunities for you to complete odd jobs while others may have you fill out surveys. And while it’s certainly possible to earn a few bucks on the side or replace a part time job, performing tasks like these, are you really going to have much fun doing so?
That will probably depend on the “gigs” and “surveys” that you choose to do, but one thing is for sure, those other opportunities probably aren’t going to be as much “fun” as what the BitMaker app is offering.
The BitMaker app is an app that allows you to earn money by playing games and testing out apps on your smart phone or tablet! But will you really make money with BitMaker? This review of BitMaker will help you find out!
What is BitMaker?
As mentioned, BitMaker is an app that pays people to test apps. There are many similar apps on the market, so what’s different – if anything – about BitMaker app?
For starters, it’s been downloaded by half a million people and has a 4 star rating on Google Play – that’s a really good sign!
How does BitMaker work?
The idea behind BitMaker isn’t really just to pay people to download apps – it provides a valuable service to many small businesses. That service is helping businesses find new customers by encouraging them to try their product through the BitMaker app.
And in theory…
What these companies ultimately need to determine for themselves is if paying BitMaker to bring customers to them is less expensive than traditional forms of advertising and client acquisition. The good news for you the “user” is that you don’t need to worry about any of that, all you need to do is:
- First, download the app and create an account.
- Then check out the different apps that are available for download.
- Then once you decide which “apps” are the most interesting to you, just download them and try them out!
From there, you’ll begin earning “points” which ultimately led to you earning money!
BitMaker’s Point System.
BitMaker awards you with points which they call “blocks” for each app tested/used. The blocks offered for an app sound like a lot – you may earn 200,000 or 500,000 for downloading. However, these blocks are converted to Bitcoin. The last recorded payout for blocks to Bitcoin was 500 Blocks to 0.00000083 Bitcoin.
Here’s the conversion:
500 Blocks= 0.00000083 Bitcoin
1 Bitcoin = ~7,400 USD (at the time of writing)
500 Blocks = 0.01 USD
This means, if you get paid 200,000 blocks to download and test an app, it will eventually be worth $4. And actually, that’s a really great payment for app testing. But…we’re going to guess that with Bitcoin worth going through the roof, the conversion of Blocks to Bitcoin is going to fluctuate too (if it hasn’t already).
The truth is that…
Bitcoins are worth a lot right now. In January 2015, Bitcoins were worth less than $200 per Bitcoin. So, the amount you earn is really dependent on the amount Bitcoins are worth – and the conversion rate offered for Blocks to Bitcoin.
In fact, it’s pretty hard to imagine the blocks to Bitcoin conversion will remain unchanged; in fact, at the time of reading this the rate may be different!
What are Bitcoins and how do you convert them into “real money”?
Bitcoins are a type of online money. At the time of writing this article one Bitcoin had a value of 7,400 USD! When you want to cash out and get money from your Bitcoin you have two options:
- Spend the Bitcoin online. Some sites such as Overstock, Dell, Expedia, and DISH Network accept “bitcoins” as payment
- Trade for gift cards. Online gift card businesses will issue gift cards to your favorite store in exchange for Bitcoins.
- Trade for Cash. There are some online sites that will convert your Bitcoins to cash and pay you directly in your bank account. They will charge you a small fee (or perhaps offer an exchange rate that’s a bit lower than the actual market value) to exchange your Bitcoin.
Our overall opinion of the BitMaker app:
Using BitMaker is a fun way to earn a little cash if you are interested in testing and downloading apps. That said, it’s not an “app” that is going to make you independently wealth or self employed!
But we shouldn’t…
Really hold that against the BitMaker app, after all, that’s not what it’s designed to do. Instead, it’s simply a way for you to make a few “bitcoins” on the side and have some fun while doing it.
We understand that there will be a lot of folks who don’t know that “bitcoins” are and may not want to take the time to learn about them. For these folks, you may want to pursue another money making app or maybe even check out our money saving apps article that focus more on “traditional” currencies and savings.
Which brings us to the point where we…
Like to discuss exactly why a life insurance brokerage is taking the time to write a review about an app that can help you earn money on the side. And while it may see strange at first, once you understand that our goal here at TermLife2Go is to help all of its clients improve their own financial future, it becomes clear what we are trying to do here.
While we here at TermLife2Go firmly believe that purchasing a life insurance policy is one of the best ways to ensure the financial future of ones loved ones (Interested in knowing what it would cost, just click here Term Life Insurance Quotes), we understand that not everyone is going to be able to afford or qualify for a traditional term life insurance or whole life insurance policy.
Than just say…
“So, sorry we wish we could help.”
We like to provide our clients with some helpful articles that could potentially help them out today and into the near future. And who knows, maybe one day in the future when they can either qualify for the coverage that they are looking for or can now afford the coverage that they need, perhaps, they’ll give us a call back!
In either case…
It’s important to understand that we here at TermLife2Go are not associated with the BitMaker app and we do not receive any kind of compensation by recommending their app here in this article. So, if you try it out and like it, great! If not, no worries.
